Having researched and surveyed the area, we revealed the panoramic view of the three peaks of the Caucuses ( Tufandaq, Babadaq, Bazarduzu). The conception of the design is integration of this idea into the shape of the hotel and creation of the design symbolizing three Caucasian peaks. The purpose of the project was to locate the hotel complex into the landscape as naturally as possible and create favorable infrastructure for people’s rest. The hotel’s building includes three blocks reflecting three peaks and white color on the facade shows the snow on the top of the mountain. The general site area is 18 hectares.
On the territory of the site hotel buildings , cottages , a restaurant, a cafe and a swimming pool are placed. The hotel area is 27000 m2. The hotel building consists of five floors and 205 rooms of different types. The hotel complex includes a conference hall of 400 places and an exhibition hall, places for events, spa and entertainment areas. The hotel location was chosen according to world sides and topographic survey. The hotel was embedded in hillside and because of level difference looks like a cascade. This hotel complex will allow to develop tourism in this region and favorably influences the creation of new infrastructure for people. This project is not only a hotel complex, but also the introduction of architecture in the environment and creating a project, which establishes balance between nature and human activity. This region is located in a seismic zone, that’s why we made a decision to create a pile foundation, divide building into seismic joints and also strengthen it by creating retaining walls. The purpose of the project was to create a multi-level complex, deviate from the typology of vertical hotels and create terraces with the panoramic view.
